Fundraising Events

Anderson Center for Autism organizes and presents two major events a year: a Gala and a Golf Tournament. These two events are vital to raising funds and awareness for Anderson Center.

Our Annual Gala is held in October and incorporates dinner and dancing with a silent and live auction. We present the V.V. Anderson Community Service Award honoring both an individual and an organization. The V.V. Anderson Community Service Award was established to honor the founder, Dr. Victor V. Anderson, who built the organization on the belief that individuals with special needs would be best served by addressing their educational, emotional and social needs. The Award recognizes a person(s) and a business/organization who has demonstrated continued commitment and dedication to furthering autism awareness in our community, as well as their outstanding leadership and strong desire to make this world a better place to live, work and play in.

But the most remarkable highlight of the evening is a special performance by our adult or children’s program. Their performances truly brings Anderson Center’s mission to all guests. To view photos, click here.

Our Annual Golf Tournament held every June that boasts 18 holes on a luxurious course in the picturesque Mid-Hudson Valley. Our tournament offers a full day from breakfast to a full dinner with opportunities to participate in raffles, awards and give-aways for all participants. Anderson Center’s unique touch on a typical golf tournament is the incorporation of tasting holes on the course where local vendors provide golfers with samples of products: vendors include Rhinebeck Smoke Shop, My Brother Bobby’s Salsa, Coppola’ Ristorante, and Bottle Barn. Everyone is winner at Anderson’s Golf Event-with many chances to win, Hole in One prizes including a car, cash prizes and much more. Don’t miss this sell-out event!
