Tina M. Chirico is the Chief Financial Officer of Anderson Center for Autism and Affiliates since 2006, overseeing all business related operations and practices. Tina received her MBA in Finance from Sage Graduate School and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Utica/Rome. She has worked in the Human Service field for 31 years, working closely with officials from the New York State Education Department (SED), Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and Department of Health (DOH). Most recently she is serving as a member of OPWDD Provider Association Committee and the Rate Reform Sub Committee. Throughout her career, Tina has been a member of the Financial Managers Association (FMA) and the 853 Coalition of Schools (853). For the last 15 years she has served as the FMA’s President and Corporate/Eastern Division President. Also, for the last 5 years she has served as the 853 Board of Directors Treasurer. Tina’s membership has allowed her to work with other associations and state officials on rate setting, CFR reform and financial changes. On behalf of the FMA and 853, she is a member of OPWDD Commissioner Provider Association Committee and SED Rate Reform Committee. She serves as the Chairperson of the Annual FMA Workshop and the FMA Annual Conference Committee. She serves as the 853 Chairperson of their CFO Committee. She is currently working with SED and OPWDD on a new acuity based rate reform. She has worked in partnership with SED and OCFS to provide training to non-profit Fiscal/Business Office staff to complete and analyze the required cost reports. She is a member of the NY Alliance Finance Committee and presents financial information at the NY Alliance Summit. Tina is the 2017 recipient of the FMA Member of Distinction Award.
