Michelle Gorenstein - Seaver Autism Center

Michelle has been the Director of Community Outreach at the Seaver Autism Center since 2013! She is also a clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Gorenstein is interested in bringing evidenced based social skills programming for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum to community centers. Dr. Joseph Buxbaum - Seaver Autism Center

Dr. Buxbaum is the Director of the Seaver Autism Center. He is also a professor of psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His research focuses on using techniques of molecular genetics and neurobiology to identify genes that contribute to autism susceptibility. Dr. Buxbaum is also the author of more than 200 publications, and he is co-editor-in-chief of the journal Molecular Autism.
