PVA is New York’s first specialized art studio and exhibition space for people with autism and people who identify as neurodiverse. \n     \n    \n      Rogers will discuss PVA and the culture of autism and neurodiversity\, as well as showcase artwork from some of the organization’s artists. She will also spotlight the work of William Britt Rockland\, a self-taught painter with autism who survived the Willowbrook State School\, the infamous (now shuttered) Staten Island facility for people with mental disabilities\, where he lived for 34 years.\n     \n    \n      Registration is required.
