The museum was founded in 1984\, and has been named one of the top 10 railroad museums in New England. It is an all-volunteer\, non-profit organization dedicated the mission to preserve railroad history and artifacts. Recently\, the museum has partnered with Guidewire\, Inc.\, to operate two Autism-Friendly/Sensory Sensitive Ice Cream Train rides. The event is happening on Saturday August 24th at their location in Adams\, Mass.
