New CEO of Anderson Center for Autism to Deliver Inaugural Address on January 28, 2017
Staatsburg, New York….Anderson Family Partners announced today that Patrick Paul, new executive director and CEO of Anderson Center for Autism, will deliver an inaugural address on Saturday, January 28from 11am-1pm at the Anderson Education Center auditorium, located on the Anderson Center for Autism campus at 4885 Route 9 in Staatsburg.
Paul is expected to discuss how the Center will continue to position itself to address the needs of individuals and families touched by Autism Spectrum Disorder; Centers for Disease Control reported in 2014 that 1 in 68 children are diagnosed with the neurological disorder which impacts speech, fine and gross motor skills, socialization, processing, and more. Paul will showcase Anderson’s signature LifeLong Learning System and Anderson’s Quality of Life initiative, designed to measure domains such as self-determination, emotional well-being, physical well-being, material well-being, rights, personal development, social inclusion, and interpersonal relations to measure quality of life.
“As we continue to grow and expand, we honor our role as an integral part of service delivery to individuals with autism, and will work to empower all we serve with the tools and resources needed to live productive, meaningful lives,” said Paul. “It is a great honor and privilege to serve in this leadership role, and I take our work extremely seriously. I really look forward to using this inaugural address as an opportunity to give the community an overview of what lies ahead for our organization, for our Anderson Center family, and for all who know and love someone with autism.”
Kevin Kollar, vice chair of the Board of Trustees for Anderson Foundation for Autism, said, “we are very excited to work with Patrick and his team to build upon the strong foundation Anderson has created.
