Food Truck Festival to Benefit Anderson

Sausage and cider highlighted at festival

Bad Seed Cider Co. are teaming up with the Hudson Valley Sausage Co. to host the Sausage & Cider Festival Sunday.

The inaugural festival will feature 12 craft ciders and a variety of artisanal sausages from the Highland-based companies.

Tickets are $28. The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. at 43 Baileys Gap Rd.

Festival features food trucks

Sunday marks the Hyde Park Food Truck Festival.

The event will feature 14 food trucks, as well as other vendors. Proceeds for the festival benefit the Anderson Center for Autism.

Arlington Farmers’ Market reopens

The Arlington Farmers’ Market will reopen Thursday.

The Farmers’ Market will run every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. on the Vassar Alumni Flats Lawn on Raymond Avenue in Poughkeepsie.

More than 20 vendors signed up for the 2015 season, selling local produce, honey, meat, baked goods and other homemade products.

The market is part of the Farmers’ Market Nutrition program, a plan that helps families in need of public assistance and veterans purchase local produce.
