This weekend’s 1 in 36 guests are Dana Hopkins, Andy Imperati, and Jane Rodd! Dana is the Dutchess County All Abilities Program Director, Andy is the CEO/Fair Manager, and Jane Rodd is the 4H Program Director from Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County. They all join the show to discuss the upcoming Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck, NY! This year the fair will again feature “ThinkDIFFERENTLY Thursday” an inclusive collaboration between the Dutchess County Agricultural Society and Dutchess County Government, offering people of all abilities and their families the opportunity to enjoy the Dutchess County Fair. Fair organizers offer these visitors entrance ahead of the crowds with an early gate opening at 9 a.m. and sensory-sensitive hours on the carnival midway from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Tune in to learn more about the “Flourishing Farmers” for children of all abilities, which will be stationed at the Fair all week long to provide information and resources for families and individuals, answering any questions at the ThinkDIFFERENTLY/4-H tent. Part of the ThinkDIFFERENTLY tent will be designated as a quiet space for those who need a respite as well! You can also learn more about the upcoming fair at: www.dutchessfair.com
