Anderson Center for Autism Announces Details of 2023 Golf Classic; Registration Now Open

April 06, 2023

Anderson Center for Autism today announced details of its 2023 Golf Classic, which is sponsored by Oldies 98.9 and scheduled for Thursday, June 15, 2023 at The Links at Union Vale in Lagrangeville, New York.

The event is expected to raise over $100,000 to support the organization’s delivery of award-winning, evidence-based educational, vocational, and residential programs to people with autism. According to the Centers for Disease Control, 1 in 36 are diagnosed with the neurological disorder, which can present with a wide range of communication, sensory processing, and socialization challenges.

Said Patrick Paul, CEO/Executive Director of Anderson Center for Autism, “We always marvel at the outpouring of support for our work and our fundraising events; Anderson’s Golf Classic is no exception. In fact, we tend to attract golfers from far beyond the Hudson Valley, who travel from areas as far away as Boston, Long Island, and the Mid-Atlantic to participate each year. The Links at Union Vale offers a beautiful backdrop and wonderful course for golfers to enjoy, and the collective commitment to our cause – from all who are out on the greens to our volunteers, sponsors, and team members – is palpable.”

Added Eliza Bozenski, Chief Development Officer of Anderson Foundation for Autism, “We expect a sell-out event once again this year, and encourage golfers to register online as soon as possible. We also have a wide range of sponsorships available for individuals and businesses who want to show their support even if they cannot get out on the greens – every donation makes a difference.”

The 2023 Anderson Golf Classic will include a shotgun start, scramble format, breakfast, lunch, cocktail hour, and awards dinner.  Unlimited beverage cart and stations are included. All golfers will receive a golfer gift and favor bag. Individual tickets are $300 per player, with registration for foursomes also available.
