Tina Marie Covington is an accomplished professional in the field of Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), holding a Ph.D. from Columbia University in the latter. She has made significant contributions to the education and support of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, evidenced by her extensive work history and numerous publications and presentations.

With over two decades of experience, Covington’s career trajectory showcases her expertise and leadership capabilities. Her roles as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Anderson Center for Autism and Executive Director at the Hawthorne Foundation highlight her ability to oversee complex organizations, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to regulations while promoting evidence-based practices.

Covington’s academic background is impressive, including an MA in Special Education/Behavior Disorders and a Ph.D. in Special Education/Applied Behavior Analysis. As a licensed behavior analyst and certified educator, Covington has held various teaching and administrative positions, including Adjunct Professor at Manhattanville College and Program Coordinator at Hawthorne Country Day School.
