Anderson Foundation for Autism Announces Details of 2026 Golf Classic; Event to be Held June 11th at the Link at Union Vale

March 17, 2026

Staatsburg, New York….Anderson Foundation for Autism has announced details of the 2026 Anderson Golf Classic, an annual event that is expected to raise over $125,000 to support Anderson’s mission of optimizing the quality of life for individuals with autism.

Sponsored by Oldies 98.9 (among others), the outing, which will be held on Thursday, June 11th at The Links at Union Vale (LaGrangeville, New York) attracts golfers from all over the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and as far away as the West Coast. The registration fee of $300 per person includes golf (shotgun start / scramble format), raffles, prizes, breakfast, lunch, a cocktail hour, and an awards dinner. All golfers also receive a gift and favor bag.

“Everyone loves a day out on the course,” said Patrick Paul, CEO of Anderson Center for Autism, “but even more so when there is a meaningful cause behind it. This event always sells out; families, trustees, businesspeople, philanthropists, and so many others who support our mission, enthusiastically travel from near and far to participate. We are so grateful to everyone who makes the Anderson Golf Classic successful each year, and really look forward to our 2026 event.”

Founded in 1924, Anderson provides award-winning educational, vocational, residential, clinical, and training programs for people locally, regionally, and all over the country.  According to the Centers for Disease Control, 1 in 31 are now diagnosed with the neurological disorder, which presents with a wide range and various combinations of communication, sensory processing, behavioral, and socialization differences.

Through fundraising, marketing, and grantmaking initiatives, Anderson Foundation for Autism helps sustain and expand upon Anderson Center for Autism’s efforts to optimize the quality of life for individuals with autism.

Reflected Eliza Bozenski, Chief Development Officer of Anderson Foundation for Autism (AFA), “The funds we raise support Anderson’s educational, vocational, residential, clinical, and consulting services; every dollar makes a difference and we are incredibly grateful to all who participate in this outing! And in addition to the fundraising component, of course, is the sense of purpose that is palpable throughout the day – and especially during the awards dinner. I think everyone who attends our Golf Classic feels inspired by the fact that they’re part of something bigger than themselves, a collective effort to make a difference in the lives of autistic and neurodivergent individuals. We are always moved by the heartfelt response we get from golfers to that end, and awestruck by how many of them find ways to continue getting behind our work well beyond the event.”

Also worth noting, said Bozenski, “is that there are other ways to help us hit our fundraising goals. We have all kinds of sponsorship options for businesses who are seeking brand visibility, and who understand that doing so in the context of a philanthropic opportunity also showcases their commitment to corporate citizenship.”

Bozenski added that this is one of many fundraising events that she and her AFA team coordinate throughout the year, should companies have interest in exploring other events and sponsorship packages as well.

Said Marybeth Cale, Chair of Anderson Foundation for Autism’s Board of Trustees, “Event sponsorships are a meaningful way to support the vital services which Anderson Center for Autism provides. They are more than a donation; they reflect a mutually beneficial partnership that we value deeply. The funds we raise through sponsor packages help our team at Anderson amplify impact, and sponsors likewise benefit by gaining visibility while aligning with our important mission. As is the case with our golfers, most return year after year, which speaks volumes about the experience – and we are always welcoming new sponsors, so we encourage anyone who is curious to reach out anytime to inquire.”

Advance registration for the 2026 Anderson Golf Classic is required.  For more information, call 845.889.9208, email events@andersoncares.org, or visit www.andersoncenterforautism.org/golf.
