Expanding its Workforce, Anderson Center for Autism Invites Prospective Employees and Interns to Anderson Connects Career Fair Day

March 14, 2026

Staatsburg, New York…. Anderson Center for Autism today announced details of its second annual “Anderson Connects Career Fair Day,” where candidates seeking employment or internship roles will get to meet with representatives from the Staatsburg-based nonprofit and learn more about available opportunities.

Free of charge and open to the public, the event will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 from 12:30-6:30pm at Double Tree by Hilton, 40 Civic Center Plaza in Poughkeepsie.

Said Patrick Paul, CEO and Executive Director of Anderson Center for Autism, “As our agency grows, so too does our need for team members who share our desire to optimize the quality of life for individuals with autism. This event gives prospective employees and interns a chance to explore job openings, get to know the people behind our cause, and learn what the day-to-day experience looks like within different departments. It’s a great opportunity to network, engage with our team, and determine whether Anderson might be an ideal fit for an internship or long-term career.”

Added Dr. Tina Marie Covington, Chief Operating Officer at Anderson Center for Autism,  “At the event, we will have representatives from the operations side of our organization, such as corporate compliance, human resources, finance, IT, and other departments present; guests will also get to connect with those who work directly with our students and residents at Anderson Early Learning Academy, Anderson Education Center, case management, and other program-related areas.  Additionally, there will be opportunities for people to learn more about career paths in fields such as Behavior Analysis, Human Service Management, and Education. There really will be something for just about everyone. It’s also important to note that Anderson offers very competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, generous paid time off, wellness programs, professional development experiences, advancement opportunities, and more. It’s a wonderful place to work; we make meaningful differences in the lives of others while enjoying a high quality of life ourselves as well.”

Established over 100 years ago in 1924, Anderson provides educational, vocational, clinical, and residential services for people with autism at its Staatsburg, NY campus.
