Barry R. Feirstein is the retired founder of the Feirstein Capital Management, a private investment management firm. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College and the Harvard Business School. Barry currently serves on the board of Autism Speaks.
He has served two terms as chairman of the Brooklyn College Foundation. While serving at the foundation, he founded the Barry R. Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. The state-of-the-art school is located at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn. It is one of the only film schools located in a working studio.
Mr. Feirstein is a member of the Weill Cornell Deans Council and a former trustee and former chairman of the Anderson Foundation for Autism. He has served on the boards of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, the Independent Film Project, and the Friars Foundation.
