Dr. Bonnie Fischer-Camara

Dr. Bonnie Fischer-Camara is an Associate Professor at Binghamton University.

She is a NY state licensed occupational therapist and the owner of Advanced Occupational Therapy, PC. Bonnie received her Post-Professional OTD from Boston University, MS in Occupational Therapy and BS in Health Sciences from Touro College, and BA in Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook. Her doctoral work addressed the proper referral process, evaluation, and treatment for patients with visual deficits within a hospital setting, that may be generalized to other practice areas. Bonnie has clinical experience in acute care, outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, pediatric home care and school-based settings. Bonnie’s recent clinical practice has been in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital and rehabilitation hospital. Areas of professional interest include program development, continuing competency, and mentorship.
