National Family Testimonials
“When we traveled across the country to tour Anderson Center for Autism, we were immediately struck by how the admissions team truly humanized our son Asher. They took our conversation far beyond IEP reports, listening for understanding and quickly connecting with Asher’s strengths, personality, and areas of potential. That initial first impression was further enhanced as we toured the cottage residences, where we quickly felt the warm, comfortable sense that this would be a “home away from home” for Asher. And it wasn’t just about aesthetics. While the campus is certainly beautiful, we also witnessed happy and fulfilled employees. So between the nurturing and knowledgeable team, the structured therapeutic setting, and the physical environment, we knew we had found something that is very hard to come by in a residential treatment center (RTC). And what made the experience extra-special is that Anderson is a place where we’ve built a “surrogate family” – forging relationships that we will continue to build upon for the rest of our lives.”

“We are tremendously grateful to all the faculty and staff of the Anderson Center for Autism for all the kindness, care and compassion they have shown our son and our family over the last several years. Trusting others to care for our nonspeaking teenage son during a very tumultuous time in his life was very emotional decision for us, especially since he would be in another state further from home than we would have preferred. It was a great leap of faith on our part, but in retrospect it has turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made on his behalf. He has grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined at the time and today he is visibly happier, more independent and more in control of his behaviors—all of which have improved his quality of life. From day one we have had peace of mind, knowing that he is safe and in good hands and for our family that has been priceless.”
