Latham, NY & Staatsburg, NY…Anderson Center for Autism, based in Staatsburg, NY, today announced that The Anderson Center Clinic (located at 7 Century Hill Drive in Latham, NY along with Anderson Early Learning Academy) is fully open and delivering services such as assessments and evaluations, professional consults, one-to-one instruction, and more. Anderson’s evidence-based programs are rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, aimed at serving individuals in an inclusive setting.

Said Patrick Paul, CEO/Executive Director of Anderson Center for Autism, “Families, caregivers, educators, and colleagues from the Capital District have long waited for these services, and we are thrilled to have responded to their need by expanding Anderson’s footprint into this area of New York State. I am confident that the expertise, resources, and programs now available will make a meaningful, lasting impact on all who spend time with our team at The Anderson Center Clinic.”

Added Dr. Tina Marie Covington, PhD., BCBA-D, LBA, Chief Operating Officer at Anderson Center for Autism, “At The Anderson Center Clinic, we are pleased to offer evaluations and assessments, 1:1 center-based applied behavior analytic instruction, social skills groups, and school district consultations and support – including onsite teacher training and workshops. In addition, we offer families and caregivers a chance to experience an ongoing integrated support network that will support their journey and position everyone for the best possible outcomes. With 1 in 36 diagnosed, programs like The Anderson Center Clinic are critically important and we encourage anyone who might benefit to explore our offerings.”

Gina Feliciano, Phd, Anderson Center for Autism’s Chief Program Officer, continued: “Our team is composed of highly qualified professionals such as Licensed Behavior Analysts, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and Registered Behavior Technicians; all have a wealth of knowledge. What’s more is that they are an incredibly compassionate group of people who are deeply devoted to our mission, which helps autistic individuals, families, and our colleagues feel truly supported and inspired.”

Explained Tina Chirico, Chief Financial Officer at Anderson Center for Autism: “It is an exciting new chapter that is a direct result of many people and entities working together. As an example, The Anderson Center Clinic was supported by a $235,000 Empire State Development capital grant that was recommended by the Capital Region Economic Development Council. We’ve been building several relationships with community stakeholders as well in order to secure a strong financial future; we’re very grateful for the incredible support we’ve received.”

Anderson Center Clinic accepts Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan (CDPHP) insurance; private pay is also welcome.

Paul noted: “The Anderson Center Clinic in Latham allows us to offer a continuum of care across the life span – from early intervention throughout childhood and all stages of adulthood. We are very pleased to have opened our doors and look forward to seeing many success stories take shape as a result of our programs and collaborations.”
