We are fundraising for the Play & Sensory Space at our new Latham location!
The Play and Sensory Space at Anderson Center’s Latham clinic and preschool are inclusive, accessible play and sensory safe spaces for children of all abilities that both engage players in fine and gross motor skills activities with exciting, interactive features and shield sensory sensitive individuals from harsh echoes and other indoor sound issues. The project includes installation of an outdoor playground with shaded play areas and stimulating interactive experiences, a picnic and seating area, and indoor sound baffling for the indoor play space.
Anderson Early Learning Academy is a 4410 Preschool serving 3- 5 year old children with a range of disabilities while the Anderson Center Clinic provides behavior analytic support and services for individuals and families with ASD. The programs, located in Latham, Albany County, are Anderson’s latest expansion to improve access to ASD care and services across the region.
The project will be completed in spring of 2023 at a total cost of approximately $250,000.
